The Art and Design Department facilitates the personal development of pupils through creative and expressive activities. It promotes in the pupils a sense of enjoyment and enrichment in their lives. Specifically the department teaches an appreciation of artists, designers and craft workers in society and other cultures, which helps the pupils to understand the diversity of people in their own community and the wider world community. |

We encourage good
relationships among pupils and staff, and respect for each other and
property. We contribute to activities in the wider school community. We
create an environment, which encourages and celebrates the pupil’s
achievements and diversity. We encourage pupils to achieve a high level
of success, to the best of their ability, in examinations and prepare
them for society and the world of work. |
