- A network of over 300
workstations connected to a C2K central server with centrally
managed file storage and printing facilities, which provides
timetabled access to a wide range of software applications, CDROM
and internet resources;
- Five main teaching
ICT rooms with individual workstations for each pupil, laser and
colour inkjet printing facilities;
- Four smaller ICT rooms each
equipped with 12 networked workstations to facilitate ICT-supported
group work ;
- A suite of portable
laptops linked to the school network by a wireless hub;
- A central bank of laptops
for staff use;
- A number of smaller
clusters of workstations for specialised use (eg Computer Graphics,
Careers, Music, the School Library etc);
- A number of networked
stations available for pupil use in the school library and the Sixth
Form Study Centre;
- One C2k workstation in
each classroom for teacher administration, each connected to a data
projector for whole class teaching;
- A number of standalone PCs
for specialised use (eg to support video editing) ;
- Centralised
video-conferencing equipment available to all departments.
