GCSE Mathematics The majority of pupils follow a two-year GCSE Higher Maths course (graded at A*, A, B, and C). Pupils who find Maths more challenging can study Intermediate Level Maths (graded at B, C, and D). Approximately one third of our pupils have the opportunity of obtaining a double Maths qualification at GCSE by completing GCSE Higher Maths iand either Additional Maths or GCSE Statistics.
AS and A2 Mathematics The Maths Department currently offers AS Maths and AS Statistics courses in Year 13 which lead to A2 courses in Year 14. Each course requires the student to study three modules in Year 13 and a further three in Year 14. AS Further Maths AS level is also offered to Year 14 pupils.
The Maths Club The Maths Club organises extra-curricular activities that are fun! Activities include games, puzzles etc....
