Huge congratulations to this year’s Bar Mock Trial team who made it to the final of their heat on Saturday, coming second place overall.
The competition took place in Bishop Street Court House where the team performed with professionalism and great enthusiasm to progress to the final round, which was extremely intense! They were an absolute credit to themselves and to the school! The team have been preparing their two cases since September and have stayed in after school and at lunchtimes to get to this level and are to be commended for their diligence and determination. Their skills in performing for the trial were greatly aided by our mentor barrister, Linda Robinson, who took time out of her own extremely busy schedule from September to December, as well as coming on Saturday to guide and support every member of the team.
